Our site is to provide a resource on the internet where the members of Alcoholics Anonymous, the general public, and the professional community can get information about the activities and business pertaining to the Alaska Area of Alcoholics Anonymous. The site also serves as a central location for statewide A.A. meeting information Area-wide, linking to active Intergroup listings where possible and posting local district meeting schedules when available.
All content and pages are designed in keeping with our traditions of anonymity, self-support and non-affiliation.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. About Alaska Area 02
A general service area is a geographical division. The state of Alaska has a single general service area, known as Area 02.
The Area 02 Committee consists of elected Officers and District Committee Members (DCMs), and the chairpersons of twelve standing committees. Area 02’s standing committee structure is closely aligned to that of the General Service Conference committee structure.
